About the Village Hall
Grafton Regis Village Hall is a registered charity, and the committee is committed to maintaining the integrity and fabric of the building for continued use by the village and wider community.
Grafton Regis Village Hall was originally the school, built in 1873 and closed as a school in 1934.
The character of the Hall was enhanced in 2000 when local artists were commissioned to give it a Tudor style makeover, with many wall paintings depicting scenes and characters from the village's history. The centrepiece depicts the infamous final meeting of King Henry VIII and Cardinal Wolsey in the village which ultimately led to the split from Rome and creation of the Church of England!
The Hall is for hire for family and social gatherings and for business meetings.
